It's completely do-it-yourself, you won't find at Ikea.
Essentially it's made out of a 260cm wide work board for the kitchen.

stay tuned
HiEnergy
That's great - a lot of shallow surface must be ergonomically great. I just have a deep antique desk which looks great, but you're forever leaning over too far to get at stuff. I shall start looking for an antique version of your cool DIY desk...

from what i've seen... why not just modify your existing desk... with a sort of add-on bit to raise stuff that is located in the back... like HiEnergy did?

does not even have to be wood, why not a mix and some parts out of a sexy metal... or something... could do your genelecs well, too... they are fussy about placement, and you will gain a lot more performance out of them.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but I think I prefer to keep my desk as a desk and think of something much more purpose-designed for the audio stuff... I need to move apartment anyway... :D

I've been looking for a rack stand like that for my mixer. Which one is it?

It's this one: http://www.thomann.de/gb/millenium_rw2001.htm
Dead cheap, very sturdy construction and space for lots of devices.
