Did not receive serial number w/purchase from Ableton Store
Hello,
I ordered Live 2.0 several days ago. My credit card was charged 12/27. I realize that the item will not be shipped until after 1/3. I did not receive my serial number as expected during the transaction process. I received a receipt by e-mail, it does not inclde any registration information. How can I receive this number and download the software?

I did - the day of purchase. Nothing yet, but it is the holidays...
Anyway, 17 people have read the post besides myself, perhaps there are multiple occurences, as with the upgrade serial numbers. An answer or directions here can prevent multiple e-mails to support, who probably have more interesting issues to address

I have followed up with [email protected] twice since the first inquiry on 12/27, including the e-mail confirmation of purchase each time. No response. The Ableton Store specifies that contact address for problems with orders. Very disappointing.
Hi, Bret.
I'm not sure if I understand you correct. You bought a full version of Live 2, not an upgrade, isn't it?
If so, then you don't get a serial number sent by mail. The serial number will be in the box. We are currently not able to sent you this number that comes with full versions of Live by mail beforehand. This just works for upgrades. Sorry for that.
Kind, regards, Bernd.

Thanks for the clarification. In the Ableton store, when selecting to purchase a full Live 2.0 version, the shopper is taken to a page which displays the boxed upgrade at US $399 - the price of the full version. In the description, it reads:
"You can download the software and get your serial number immediately. In addition, you will be sent a Live 2 package which includes: the Live 2 Installation CD with ca. 400 MBs of high-quality samples..."
This was the source of my confusion and concern. Thanks for clarifying this. I look forward to receiving my shipment!

I, however, did definitely order the upgrade, and I did not receive a serial number for the download. I added a LiveLight to the order to take advantage of the shipping costs for one package versus two, so maybe in the process of that, I screwed something up.
I've been too busy to email [email protected] about it, and I probably wouldn't have had time to install the upgrade before the box arrives anyway. I say this only to point out that it's not a big deal, but I thought you guys would like to know.

P.S. FWIW, my order number was 710.
