i would love to see some responses to mholloway's post if anyone has any answers.
i find that i actually enjoy the instruments in logic over the ones in live (and i do have suite 8, call it personal preference i guess). but, the workflow and the vsts are absolutely necessary to use in live so i cant rewire it either. an easy way to export audio from logic to live would be ideal but in my past work is has been a large enough pain in the ass that i have just stuck with vsts. whatever connections anyone can recommend between using logics audio with lives session view would be helpful. thanks

Could you not install Soundflower, open Live first, then Logic, then pipe Logic into Live or vice versa?

Perhaps I'm confused as to his question.jcobb00 wrote:i would love to see some responses to mholloway's post if anyone has any answers.
Why wouldn't you just record the audio of each track that's going into Logic? If each track in Ableton is going to it's own track in Logic, then just hit the record button in Logic. There you go, it's bounced to audio.mholloway wrote:Bounce session view stuff to logic's arrangement? I like this idea, since ableton's arrange view is not ideal to my mind, and logic's arrangement view is great, but how do you best bounce the material and when? AFAIK there is no way to bounce scenes from Live to audio

Re: Live 8 and Logic Pro 8
Not sure but I think you have me backwards. I am not trying to put my Ableton audio in Logic, I am trying to put my Logic audio in Ableton. I enjoy logic's virtual instruments and wish there was an easy way to use them in Ableton. I record most of the stuff I produce via midi. I am on a never ending search to find good instruments. Ableton suite's instruments do not do it for me, they have potential but are way too time consuming to find sounds i like. I have some VSTs but still not %100 satisfied. The best single collection of virtual instruments I have is logic and need an easy way to use and modify them in Ableton. Ideally i would rewire Logic into Ableton but Logic can not operate as a slave, which does me little good.
