Who hates Capitalism?
I know I do. My intention is to present a topic open for debate. I am not here to preach my ideologies or shove statistics down your throat, I would like to hear that from you instead

Ok, I'll start one.
OT: What is your favourite colour?
I cannot think of my favourite colour at the moment, but I'll let others start the ball rolling....
Re: Who hates Capitalism?
Yeah I hate the fact I was able to start my own business and make loads of money from it.
I think your problem is probably with unregulated free market capitalism, not capitalism itself.

Re: Who hates Capitalism?
Well considering that my intention was to state a topic as simply as I could so I could hear other peoples opinions - vague or not - then I must have done a good job doing so. I rather listen to people feud then preach my ideologies.Da hand wrote:knotkranky wrote:OT quality is really dropping these days

that's assuming that you know everything and don't need to discuss anything at which point you're not having a conversation or listening you're just making a statement which is all fine and dandy but it's notstringtapper wrote:Provide your own cogent answer or argument in your first post? the catagory everyone falls in. some people are interested in others opinions to learn from and help shape
their own, other people don't want to hear anything from anybody that they don't agree with, and still others might even be looking for support of a paticular issue but there are countless more. the problem though is disrespect.

That is what sucks the most about recent ot's and this one.
You're just an arsonist in a way. You wanna light a match and marvel at the thread you started.
Be compelling, make a point, show you have command of the subject.

What I said assumes that one would have to know everything in order to put forth their own argument?starving student wrote:that's assuming that you know everything and don't need to discuss anything at which point you're not having a conversation or listening you're just making a statement which is all fine and dandy but it's notstringtapper wrote:Provide your own cogent answer or argument in your first post? No you missed the point on that one. You put forth the argument precisely because you want others to react to it and discuss.
