Free all Midi/Key Commands...!

Post by esky » Tue Sep 15, 2009 8:59 am

One more on my wishlist...: Keep the existing midi- and keycommands as default, but make them all full editable. I'd love to have my most used commands as one-key commands. Opening the browser with three keys is a pain...! And i want to put them on my APC (without an external program!!!) the way it fits to my workstyle...! Please, this cannot be to complicated...

quite stupid though that you would need an extra application just to get custom keyboard shortcust, especially when you think about how extremely poorly placed they are.

hehe well I found the drawback remapping to single keys using autohotkey: now I cannot rename a clip using any of the keys I used to remap the shortcuts :?

in addition, I´d like to see more key commands:
like command-l loops, hit it again does nothing (should deactivate the loop)
collapse grouped tracks in arrangement view
what else?

Add a pause to the script, which will allow you to use the keys when you want then unpause to go back to having them.

http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/Pause.htm

Try adding this command
somewhere near the end of the script.

Pause::Pause

This should pause the script when you press the "pause" key on the keyboard and unpause it when you press it again.

thanks for the tip! I already did a similar thing though by mapping a key combo to activate/deactivate the script. Works fine :)
