Re: Sampler Timestretching Racks for Live 7 & 8
Nice 1. Good idea to use velocity decay on the arp to do the business.

Hey GB,
Tried to open this in Live 7.0.16 and its a no-go - says that the present may be broken. Any thoughts?

aw crap, i updated them the other day with some slight improvements, but did the update in 8 rather than 7, which screwed the L7 compatibility. doh.
just re-edited in L7. re-download them - they work fine now.

Very nice, i esp. like the drum rack slicing preset, muchas gracias.

Hi there folks,
I downloaded these two rack, thank-you very much for them. However I'm struggling to use them, could you explain a bit more about how the drum slicer would be used, and how you would time stretch a sample......

Put the slicer preset on the default slicing presets folder, right click a loop, slice to new midi track, choose that preset, use the macro knobs for the time stretching.curlsta wrote:Hi there folks,

Hi Gary,
This is awesome. Thanks for cracking this nut!
Been having fun all morning. However, I'm getting different results that when I use the rack with a song running and when the song is stopped
When just triggering (song not running), the sample stretches all the way to the end as expected (in classic junglist styleee)
However, when it's running, the sample I am stretching seems to stop at some point through the loop and start playing again from the top.
Any ideas how I can get it to run all the way to the end as normal?

Don't worry. I figured it out.
It was retriggering when the loop went round.
No loop = No retriggering
My next track is gonna be a real Junglist Timestretch revisit
Thanks again
