Gotta say I'm not using the new folder feature at all. I like seeing all the apps that I don't use lined up- page after page. Kinda like Lladros at me grandmum's house.

I love folders. Not only has it helped me group my apps in a way that makes sense, but also I HAVE TO because I've got so many apps I've exceeded the amount of pages my idevices allow and new ones no longer show up unless I group apps into folders or delete some. That's right, fuck off.

They really need to do a better job with the app organizing interface on iTunes. 2 wishes:

1. Along with your total apps on the left they should also display folders available so you can easily just drag and drop apps directly to the folders. It gets all squirrely when you try to do that within the display in the pages both on the idevice and itunes…apps all shuffling around in an attempt to moving it just above the folder to drop…sometimes dropping it in the wrong folder or creating a new one you didn't want. Also if the app isn't on the same page, that can also be sloppy moving it to the page you want it on.

2. In the total apps pane if the app is in a folder then it should tell you which one.

There should be a law against having that many apps. It's obscene on the order of mortgage derivatives and hedge funds

I partially blame appadvice.com's daily "apps gone free/cheap" reports as an enabler. The Thanksgiving weekend sales didn't help my A.A.S. either.

Did you see the Griid people announcing a HUGE update being dropped any minute now? And last I remember this is now a partnership with the TouchOSC peeps and the Lemur Mu peeps. They're making it sound like it's going to be something that is going to blow TouchAble out of the water.

Rumored next gen iPads will be shipping in Feb, which is when I was entertaining the idea of getting a Macbook Air and I can't afford both.

The big attraction for me on the next gen would be if they put a 256 drive in it because then I would be able to fit my whole media library on it. Couldn't really care less about a front facing camera. A lighter iPad would also be attractive.

I have a feeling it'll be lighter since that's been a common complaint.

Yeah it really is on the heavy side to be holding up for an extended period of time. It's not very ergonomic. The Kindle on the other hand is quite nice in the weight department but I know way less goes into the components.

I may just get both because I'm FUCKING RICH.

Oh. And a Shout Out to an app called GoodReader. PDFs...jpgs....nearly every kind of document can be viewed on this thing. It easily connects with your FTP site/cloud.

Oh I don't know. Looks like it might be my go to device for bashing people over the head. Much more ergonomic when gripping for full coverage impact. Win?
