I'm totally excited and they did an amazing job on this controller it seems.

But can't imagine how they could have done better? You're not trying hard enough!

Displaying Track/Clip names on the controller comes to mind.

This Live/Max collaboration is gonna totally mess up the Cycling '74 forum

I can see the thread index now, a new mixture of serious Max heads and Ableton forum posts.

The "Pron to the Max" thread looks familiar, but the other stuff is kind of a stretch.

The one thing that will send me over the top into getting this is if the collaboration somehow allows Max/MSP to access more than 128 parameters in a VST/AU, otherwise it will be cool, but the main problem with Live IMO will still be there. If this adds OSC style support by default to Live's internal workings then it's a no brainer to pick it up.

APC40 + Max for Live + Arduino LCD screen (called an LCD shield for some reason). mwuahhahhhaha

edit: and... Tutorials and ready made examples, given Ableton's history with lessons - it's going to be so easy for so many people to learn how to use it.
