Verse/Chorus Style Looping?

I finally got to try the beta out and was really excited about looper but now I'm knida bummed. I want to do verse/chorus/bridge/intro/outro/ etc. type songs. I guess for some reason I was expecting the looper to be loaded in a clip slot versus being loaded on the audio track. I do understand it makes sense that it is an audio effect but I'm not sure how to make it work the way I'd like. I read Angstrom's trick to send the output of the looper to another audio track and record into clip slots but it doesn't seem usable to me right now. After you have built up your verse, then to start a chorus it means you would have to
1. activate recording on a clip slot on the audio track 2
2. clear out the loop on audio track 1 and
3. switch Monitoring on audio track 2 from 'In' to 'auto'.
So far my favorite way to accomplish this is Mobius's loop switching feature which makes this a one button affair but I'm on a mac and the mac port isn't stable enough for live use yet. In Mobius if you switch to the next loop it is quantized and immediately begins recording. (If you set it up that way) And only one loop is played at a time.
Any advice or workarounds?
Thank you for any help,
Todd

have you tried putting two (or more) loopers in a rack - that way you can switch between them off a macro.
there are a number of ways to do this so I won't describe them all. Try it out anyway - multiple loopers.

Cool... I hope a decent new solution involving one only track will be found. A new way of working, more practical.
