I think Aron is the next leader (born on the Island), so they are trying to get him back to the Island to groom him for leadership (Kate doesn't want to go back to the Island or bring Aron back)....
I reckon its all to do with Christian Sheppard (who is classified as being "undead"), Aaron's grandfather (he's Claire's dad as well as Jack's). The last time we saw him he was in Jacob's cabin and claimed to be speaking on his behalf, which means Christian must have some level of importance on the island. So Ben needs to get Aaron back to the island for Christian.
That bit right at the end confused me, until I realised that Jin must be moving through time along with the rest of them. Now I'm trying to rack my brain as to whether Danielle ever met Jin in the future. Anyone know? I'm almost tempted to go back through the old episodes to have a look at any meetings for any signs they put in there.

The final explanation for this show is going to be a big disappointment but I'm sure the fanboys will insist it was the best thing ever, this generation's Star Trek.
Or is it this generation's Gilligan's Island?

Yeah, that Danielle, Jin connection looks pretty interesting... Wonder what will become of that! I was thinking the same thing, I want to go back over some of the older episodes (need more hours in the day!!).

Come one man, would it be more politically correct if we said "Asian Guy"?
Why yes, it would. More importantly, it would sound less offensive.
I can't speak for the rest of the world, but Asians around here do NOT like being called 'Orientals'.
However they like being called Asians just fine..
For example, calling a black man a 'negro' is not technically wrong, but it sounds hella fucked up.

enough, people getting upset about racial slurs only helps propagate their offensiveness.
back to lost or shut the f**k up

I was actually done, just wanted to make a point. You've now extended the issue by two posts.
I'm not upset, but often people say these types of things without any malicious intent and maybe they just don't know any better.
I'd hate for someone on here to get there teeth knocked out over a misunderstanding. Real life is way different than saying things on the internet, there are differenet reprocussions.

Apparently she had seen him in the present (after the crash) but there was no reaction. So either she didn't recognize him or it hadn't happened at the time (the same as seemed to happen with Desmond recently).

You know it doesn't have any negative meanings here in the UK... but i suppose it may have in the states? According to trusty wikipedia it seems so.

Anyways... back to LOST >

Supernatural is owning all these shows, I've only been dissapointed by one or two episodes. Manimal was the shit. Sylars story line is the only one interesting right now and it makes total sense to me, he is a socio-pyschopath. I like lost but I miss too many episodes, I'm constantly lost....go figure.

I guess you're talking about the bit where Danielle introduces herself to Jin.
The big deal being that it is Danielle when she first got to the island.

Was it not even more a big deal that it appeared they arrived in the present day (clothes, equipment etc they had) rather than 20 or so years ago... or did i completely get that wrong? I was assuming there that Rousseaus party had done a time jump at some point (hence the sickness).
