Just Blaze

no one has put any video footage of him on ableton yet, but to have a big name hiphop producer doing a whole album on live for ideas and just doing touch ups in pro tools.

i just read a bunch of stuff on JUST BLAZE talking about him using LIVE. thanks for this info.

now i downloaded the LIVE demo.
i've been on it for 4 hours now. this is pretty easy to get around. hooking up my FAST TRACK PRO and O2 MIDI CONTROLLER was simple. and it found SAMPLETANK for me.

now, messing around with the effects, the LIVE reverb doesn't sound that great.

You're either high or DEAF.

Of fucking course not. It sounds half ass. What did you expect for $400? A TC Electronic Reverb 6000? Get real. That's like demoing Sony Acid, and saying "well, the eq doesn't sound very 'Neve' to me". LOL Are you kidding? You sound like a person that just got started using DAW's and really doesn't have a clue between ITB, Hybrid or hardware mixing. How this thread has lasted so long is a mystery. I make a living from music and use Live as my only DAW + Duende + UAD and Magma.

One might assume, that is because Sony Acid Pro is meant for professionals.

Chang you be nice too man, I think you're misunderstood a lot because of the language barrier, so there's extra scrutiny on you. props for posting in a second language, I can't do that. in this case it's just cperezzz being a supreme d0uche.

Looking like someone wants to be #2 on the ban wagon. Couldn't happen to a better contestant.

well, ok, your question deserves an answer then!

The answer is no. Not one professional uses live as their main DAW. It is just a toy for DJs and sad bedroom producers who masturbate furiously to their own amature garbage music while playing WOW on the other monitor.

no one of your caliber should sully their reputation by using it.

.lm.

you might be right about that.

and if i get no response, i'm assuming the answer will be nobody has used it.
OK, I'm tired of this shit. I will name one artist that fits your criteria but takes it one step further. Andy told us that his new/upcoming album will have been made using exclusively Ableton Live! I hope he doesn't mind being "outed" as that is not my intention.
