almost finished a 3 year degree in sonic art, got my degree show in june and im freaking out a bit about it as my sensors and max patch arent working as well as id like
maybe i'll do an MA after. not sure yet
er...used to shout at kitchen porters at the savoy for a job. AV is better

i love pubs and food. recently i like the gym
music - i love improvising and jamming with people, doing shit little recordings on my mobile phone, making little films to accompany my tunes and noises
im reasonably happy but worry a bit much about stuff. i have had intermittent kidney stone trouble for the last 3 years which has been/still is a total pain in the arse (well, kidney actually)

Re: Who are you, really?
Well...
I'm 37 with three kids and a woman who I may or may not marry. If left to my own devices I would probably live wherever I could and just write music, I could care less about money.
I've lived in the Susquehanna Valley my entire life, wishing to be able to see the world, to expierence friendships and find some sense of why this is what it is.
Growing up I had no sense of anything, asbergers, being molested, a bi-polar mother, a father who left when I was younger.
Found drugs and a desire for death, met a woman, five years with her, nothing to show for it except being broke and a daughter who is almost 18 now.
Jumped from job to job trying to make a living, hating life, playing in rock, heavy metal bands, more drugs.
Always had a desire to know God,explored religious texts, everything I could find, settled for spiritual but not religous.
Work as an electrician now, where one guy lives near one of my cousins who has now twisted what happpened to me as a kid to me being gay.I don't get it. So now I endure ridicule on a daily basis(construction work), I would rather be hated than pittied.Trying to stay away from drugs.
Planned on touring but fell through. Praying for miracles.

Re: Who are you, really?
At this day and age, I don't blame you, I would not go. I assimilated a lot of knowledge from the production techniques, I hate the "scene" and the people......3dot... wrote:yes...saw all them several times...even did sound for them...aisling wrote:have you ever seen MFG, Astral projection, or spacecat perform live?3dot... wrote: yeah '95 to about 2000 was very crazy here...

Re: Who are you, really?
I'm 32 this year (October)and there are a few things that still scare me....
1: The fact I feel like I wil never grow up
2: The thought of going deaf... I wouldn't survive a week without music
3: I am responsible for the well being of a small person
4: My girlfreind is 10 years younger than me
5: I've been using Live for a couple of years and still don't fully understand it all.
Out of these the one that troubles me most is the last. As someone who has worked with computer programs for as long as I can remember from end user to programmer I find it almost an insult that I just can't get my head round the capabilities of Live and just when I think I've cracked it someone shows me something I didn't know!!!!
