It opens the second window, you need the beta to use itFranekk wrote:I don't know this shortcut, and i don't have a 9.1 beta, could you explain it?Evengy wrote:ctrl + shift + w and align them next to each other or where is the problem?Franekk wrote:I hope ableton will add support for both views on one monitor.

I have an off topic question: In ableton's homepage there is a photo of dual monitors, and there is something that looks like a control room remote controller. I've never seen it. anyone has any clue about it?

Re: Ableton 9.1 Dual Monitor Support + more
I found a problem with the new step sequencer feature and Push.
Let's say I want to automate a note's filter frequency.
I push the note, choose "automate", and change the value.
But, it also changes the other value on the note side such as nudge or length.
It changes two parameters which are placed on the same row. One from "note" and the other from
"automate".
Anybody can confirm this problem?

I wasn't going to upgrade either.... I upgraded the day they announced dual window support and was checking the boards like 5 times a day waiting for the beta to drop...looprication wrote:I posted in the Get Satisfaction forums that without dual monitor support, I wouldn't buy.
Well, slap my ass and call me Sally. Gonna plunk down for it tonight!!!

OH MY GOD... I friggin LOVE it!!!!!
I have dual monitors but you don't need 2 monitors... It's actually 'Dual-Window' support. I've used it both ways (2 monitors... and 2 windows on 1 wide screen monitor) with absolutely no problem. The work flow already seems 10 times better... Hate to say it but I have just officially lost my interest in Bitwig overnight!

If that is related to the 9.1 beta then it's probably best to do your feedback to report the bug or post it on the beta forum.bandmasta wrote:I found a problem with the new step sequencer feature and Push.

Push now has a (new) note mode step sequencer. It is part of the new Push firmware. It works with 9.1 but not with 9.0.6LFO8 wrote:Wait... the new step sequencer is only for Push??
There is also a M4L step sequencer in Live. But that's a whole nother story.
Re: Ableton 9.1 Dual Monitor Support + more
anyone notice their LCD screen after the firmware update?
mine seems to be un even in brightness now! the top right is brighter than the rest or the rest of the screen is duller.
its rather distracting! i sent a bug report to ableton but they haven given me a soid answer. would like to know if any one has a similar issue?

They made some changes to the contrast in the Push firmware, though not seeing any issues like you describe with mine.

My question might have gotten lost a page ago, but does anyone know if 9.1 adds retina support for the Macbook?

So, when editing long drum sequences on Push, it no longer loops the section you're editing! It just keeps the focus on the part you're editing. I love this! I hated the way it used to work. I REALLY hope this isn't a bug
