I mean the Hulk is a no-brainer property. Just to tie this into the OP. It's like the ultimate cross between a superhero and a monster movie. Write a good script. Make it work for kids too. Sell those big stupid green fists. Jackpot.

Norton as the Hulk is widely hated in the Marvelsphere, rated one of the lowest movies out of the 1,345 they’ve done to date.

I report. You deny.

The Ang Lee Hulk generally has been reviewed lower than Incredible, but I thought the exploration of the issue of anger was actually well done. Maybe just a bit too heady for… well a Hulk movie lol

A heady Godzilla movie probably wouldn’t be received much better.

The fact of the matter is these movies make hundreds of millions of dollars regardless. There’s no incentive for the studios to burn a lot of calories on a better and probably more expensive writer.

Also the writers on the Transformers movies think they are script geniuses based on how much money those movies made. No decision makers are arguing with that. :x

And based on 2013 movie revenues guess who brought in the most money to Hollywood based on the movies they were in. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was the top cash cow. :x

Saw the new Xmen. Fell asleep twice. Strictly comparing action quality and quantity, the new Godzilla movie made the new Xmen movie look like a 2 hour TED talk on cosplay. FFS. :x

Ouch, saw Godzilla today and found myself multiple times reaching for the remote to fast forward :) cool backstory and fun when they fight, but the family stuff was such terrible filler and in no way needed for the movie.

Non-Stop does what it says on the tin. Kinda sad when a movie manufactured to be forgettable is better than ones that are supposed to be epic.

Good to know. It was getting good reviews, but all I could think was "really?".

Back to godpillow, wtf was up with Ken Wantanabe? He was like the really slow stoned scientist the whole movie. Every scene he was in someone would ask him a question, there'd be some long dramatic pause, and then he'd mumble something obvious that mostly sounded like a guess.

And godpillows face looked kinda weird, like the monkeys from the new POTA, not like a lizard. And he needs to go on biggest loser, ASAP.
