This feature will bring users of Intel Core Duo-equipped Macs another large increase in audio performance, and Windows users will be able to fully exploit the speedup potential of the various available multicore/multiprocessor hardware solutions the market offers.supster wrote:WaveRider wrote:There seems to be absolutly nothing for PC users there!!!!
multiprocessor support, and "signficiant audio peformance gains" is the second sentence in the paragraph

I agree. Like childish people who announce, like it mattered, they're leaving the forum forever, then come back a few days later and give lessons on childishness.hambone1 wrote: IMO, juvenile temper tantrums don't accomplish anything, especially when seeking help. FWIW, Live works flawlessly for me, as it does for many others (apart from the new menu greying out bug...)
Hambone, launch live, what does it say ? DJ app for playing 6 tracks or complete music solution. If it's the latter you can assume Live is sold as a DAW application.hambone1 wrote: IMHO, it's called Live for a reason. It's a performance instrument, not a full-featured DAW

When I'm having that issue I find it best to change the driver type to "No Audio" and then render. I've experienced plenty of pops and clicks issues in renders (even doing something as simple as warping an 8 beat loop and rendering it) when I've got the audio driver set to ASIO (or *spit* MME/DirectX), but I've yet to have it happen when I use No Audio.mdb wrote:And thanks to this buggy piece of shit i cant render a 48k 24bit file to save my life. Its either empty, half the song, or riddled with pops and clicks. And it seems to happen when i have 20+ tracks.
would this then mean that the sound card / interface could be problem?bragi0 wrote:When I'm having that issue I find it best to change the driver type to "No Audio" and then render.
