Live 6?

double is not possible

the best software for making use of multiple processors are things like animation rendering. Cinema4d is about the best here and for rendering it is about 75-80% speed increase. For audio, I'd guess 50-60% would be impressive.

well, it's like this..............I've decided the final version......which will be launched at 8.53 am texas daylightsavings time on friday the 14th. It will be an announcment, which means we will still have to wait for the public beta, then the release :cry:

Newest features....

dual processor support (duh)
quicktime video support
realtime render/bounce for midi clips
multi time signature/tempo automation
dual monitor support
intro/out fades featuring multi curves on clips or arrangments
full axiom support with templates for differnet scenarios
panning laws for further flexibility in sends and bus scenarios
freeze improvements including control of volume, pan, send
automation curves with multiple choices depending desired result
blackbox type amp sim and modeling(limited in comparison)
multiband compressor

and many bug fixes....

I hope Live 6 will not only support dual processors, as I already have 4 cores in my
Quad G5. I am expecting the new Intel PowerMac line to have at least one model with 2 ore more dual core processors...
