Yes Please + 1
I cant believe this is still missing! Surely by version 9 we should have this, if not somethings wrong.

Re: Bezier Curves
I can't believe they haven't added this. I'm not sure I want to upgrade now. This is such a big one that so many people want. Linear envelopes just don't cut it these days, especially when they have curved envelopes in most of the software instruments.
Please add this!

Re: Bezier Curves
just got the question from a friend who switched from cubase to ableton.
in cubase the automation curve can be drawn like a lfo with different waveshapes.
then it would be very nice if you could on top of this manipulate the whole
automation line as such = slowly arising modulation ramp etc...
the automation snap to grid is an absolute must, really wonder why this is missing
in a sync orientated host like ableton ?

Re: Bezier Curves
yep me too - curves are a must! havnt used cubase myself but this lfo-style drawing sounds fantastic.... even better would be like f32 said, being able to apply say a sinewave modulation to an already drawn in automation line, acting as a 'secondary' modulator of sorts, with the added benefit of being visualized in arrangement
im new to this forum so not too sure how feature requests work - does anyone official actually ever look/take notice of threads like this?
come on ableton!

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.
>v< - that´s the question today
...the work of production is reduction...

Re: Bezier Curves
Is 8+ pages of posts in support of this feature not enough to convince Ableton that a lot of people want it and it's thus worth adding?
