but the main prob is staring at a screen for 8 hours and then coming home... and staring at a screen for another 6 or so hours making music.

Man, I hear you on that. I'm a web app developer (ColdFusion/Flex) for a large financial agency and it can be tough to plug in after you've been plugged in all day. Best thing is I'm on a 35 hr./wk schedule though.

Love my job: fast cars, doing something I love and getting a decent wage for it
