I have little interest in this because I'm fairly early on my 2 year AT&T contract and I have no problems with AT&T in my area, but it will be interesting watching it slice into the Android phone market share. I know several people with POS phones just waiting on tippy toes for iPhones to be available on Verizon.

BTW, you always hear about getting financially raped when killing cell contracts early but I never hear anything about exactly what that fee is. If you use idevice app purchasers as a gauge anything over $4.99 is preposterous.

Cooking apps is where I've gone overboard. As of last week I have more than will fit in a single folder.

I was hoping to have a user report to you by now on the Clamcase



Which I ordered back on 12/22 and they yanked the money out of my bank on 12/27, but I still haven't received it or even gotten an email that it has shipped even though the site says the order is complete.

So I sent them an email yesterday and they responded that they can't give me a ship date yet but it should be soon. I don't think they're a shady company if for no other reason than YOU DON'T FUCK WITH APPLE USERS, but for the life of me I can't think of any other online purchase where the company took the money out of my account long before they shipped something. Put a temporary hold or take out a percentage for a deposit, sure, but take out the full amount, no.

Lord help them though if it doesn't ship soon. I have mad complaint chops on the internet and they don't want to be on the receiving end!

Verizon holding a news conference next Tuesday. A bunch of Apple-centric reps were invited which can only mean one thing, along with the fact that Gizmodo was purposely NOT invited.

You're forgetting my much publicized fit over the differences between the new and old Apple TV.

Also way back in the day Apple suddenly ditched scsi and serial ports and replaced them with usb and firewire, making all my external hardware useless and at that time there wasn't a lot of hardware using those protocols yet.

I was talking about not shipping something yet taking your cash. Isn't that what you guys were talking about?
