Better if you hold off for awhile on the last one .....

So you know for a fact that this is not possible?

Are you asking if it is possible to record Audio into Midi devices? If so, I don't know; I'll just have to get out my old TR-707 and see....
Or did you just mean Live's "convert audio to midi" function? And of course, I can always export a Live Midi/Audio track to a .wav file....

Hybrid tracks
In addition to audio and instrument tracks, you can also work with hybrid tracks. They accept any kind of material, allowing you to bounce note clips to audio in place.

What I mean is, can we sample straight to a 'drum rack'?
y'know kinda like how you can't do that in Live.
..and by that I mean, does it have a Sampler that can actually sample..

400usd sounds cheap to me, but maybe i'm just accustomed to everything for electronic music being expensive.
i'll probably just buy the thing to fuck around with it at that price.

Slightly less than Live Standard, half the cost of Live Suite...
Then again, you can be sure they have fewer mouths to feed and a much smaller marketing team.
I still have a few kidneys lying around, so I should be able to scrape the cash together...

Did I tell you about my new "charity?" If you donate 400 bucks (since that isn't much money) I'll give you a free toaster oven. Believe me, the money will go to a VERY good cause.

Alot of the plugins look like Ableton rip offs. I wonder if Ableton is behind bitwig as some secret way to cause competition with themselves and get people who already own ableton to buy bitwig and then decide they like Ableton better and re-buy that... lol conspiracy
They would make triple the money in that case

Bitwig was founded by ex-Abletons.
