How do you stop video while audio is running ? you mean audio was still running after the end of the movie ?
After the end of the movie, the audio sequence should continue to play. This would be the correct behavior. I did not crash when the video played til the end and the audio in live kept going.

Hi,

I don't really get you: what did you and did you not do ? you played the timeline after the end of the movie ? did you play the movie at all ? by "audio sequence", you mean audio in a Live's track ?

I can on my system close and reopen the movie window during the movie, or after the movie has complete.
Also (question to ocp also): was the sound from the movie playing, or was it muted (in MovoePlayer), cause as I sated, letting the audio from the movie play in MoviePlayer makes my system funky, and is more likely to lead to a crash. For that matter, I may set an automatic mute in the end... but I thought it could work on other's people sytems...
But was it on for you ?

Best,
amo

do you mean the archive only contains a text file or there is no archive but a text file ? do you have an option about extensions for file names or something ?

The crash happened when I closed the plugin window. All was fine until then.
I also had a hard time unzipping the Mac dowload. I was only getting a text file. Using Zipit solved the problem.

Yes the audio from the movie was on on my computer. It didn't seem to bother anything.

What I mean is if the movie is shorter than your arrangement in Live, then the movie should stop as your arrangement plays on.

EDIT::See post below for latest version link.

I have further run tests opening and closing the plugin window as well as having it autohide when I select a new track. I'm testing with a photo-jpeg encoded movie because it has the least CPU overhead of most formats.

Hi all,

Yeah, the mac archive was a bit messy. With the help of Buddhabelly, I hope it is right now. Could please some MAC user check from my site.

Buddhabelly >> thanks for the help on the zip. The thing is it should not contain the MP timescale file since I'm not sure about it, and it misses the txt file. Plus if I decompress it on my comp, it gives me a mess of folders. So what I did is I re-archived it here with the right files, just hope it works !

And yes, you are right, we have to be able to continue playing the arrangement when the movie is finished, and the movie should stop. In fat it stops, since it's gone past its ending point. I don't have that weird behaviour here on windows, but again, the sound from the plug (the movie) is muted.
I'll try to investigate.

I began working on v1.0, which will calculate automatically the timescale and sync settings, and will have a negative offset.

Regards to all,

amo

Hi
Once again: great plugin!
Your idea about a two page setup would be great.
Then i could fit the big version on my TV (PAL) monitor.

Bonsak

What the difference would be for your TV ? :?
In fact, the buttons bar would just be a bit thiner, but there would still be controls on top of the video. The main reason why I would do that is, yes, to have less control visible all the time, and to let time to the plug calculate timescale and all.
TV resolution is 800X600 right ? I may have the bigger version those proportions....

v1.0 is on the way, working fine for now. Just have to figure the negative offset now....

Best,
amo
