Because I don't want to write a frickin' book just to write a review, dumbest rule ever.

No wonder so many reviews are so old @ kvr (from before the rules were implemented)..

So URS - When do we get 3X Cheeze goodnes in Zebra?

:D
GO VEGAN!!! - Macbook Air, Bass Station II, Some Korg shit, Live Suite, U-He, Audio Damage, Microtonic, Ohmicide, more soft stuffs, awesome controllers, euro rack modular synth,an awesome cat.

Thinking about getting Zebra but I just got Absynth. I did dl the demo version of Zebra and love the interface. But unfortunate I'm going to have to buy this at the higher price in the future. Here's for a good cause! 8)

Of course it will, why wouldn't it? Do you think everyone would be so excited if this wasn't universal binary and cross-platform? Did you even bother to look at the product page before jumping to conclusions?

I was referring to this:

"There is a minimum character count of 1000 and a maximum of 5000 for new reviews."

Wait and see, wait and see... I mean, most of 3Cheese is already doable in Z2, just the blown model has yet to find its way... oh, and some of the othrs...

My litmus for any plug-in synth is to always turn off ALL effects/Modulation and just take two saw waves using LP 12 or 24 filter and slightly detune them : see how close to the Oddity for sure raw 'warmth' I can get.

Z2 does a really nice job.

One thing it kills at is plucky/percussive/wood blocky sounds. Pulling Barbieri sounds all day long,,,,,,

After playing with it for a few days now I completely agree that it does some great percussive/plucked sounds! I think thats my favorite part about it so far.
Once again it's a synth with its own character that is complementing everything else very well...

Well my broke little pensioner's ass is still saving for Live 6 + Sampler + Operator so Zebra 2 is going to have to wait till some time next year :( .
I am however totally loving TripleCheese at the moment.
Thanks for the freebie Urs.

Just placed my order.

Not only the sounds grabbed me, but the whole user interface makes it a pleasure to use.

Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction. :)

My pleasure, just wanted to spread the love.

Judging by the number of similar comments, I think this thread may have funded a nice little vacation for urs! I'm sure he deserves it. :D

Also quite short on cash, I went straight for a Live 6 + Sampler + Zebra 2 combo ;) ... And it's lovely. I figured I'll wait and see if I yearned for Operator enough somewhere in the future..

I have an origina(mint) REV2 Prophet 5 that's been midi'd: just like Richard's.

'Gentlemen Take Polarids' is a classic: especially my fav: 'Taking Islands in Africa'

I love setting up Live's Arp synced to my P5 and going off the deep end....;)

trouble with HH click at the end

Post by eturnol » Thu Oct 26, 2006 9:28 pm

hi,

because of this thread, i went ahead and downloaded the demo of zebra, and am having a great time playing around with the presets, which sound fantastic.

but i am having trouble with the following preset, which is found in the Bass Preset section:

"HH click at the end"

I love the sound of the bass, but i cannot for the life of me remove the click at the end. I know my way around synthesizers, and feel like i should be able to remove the click, but can't. Is there an aftertouch modulation that i can edit? I really dont want to have to filter it out, because that would change the nice sound of the bass.

Any help?
Ben
