ohhh happy days!
i just got my mbp 2.33ghz 2gigram 120gig hd... and here i was, just yesterday, expecting it in a week.
i'm at work, but will be doing tests when i get a chance.

Yup! And I'll bloody go back if MBP Core2Duo + OSX + Live 6 + Firewire/FF400 isn't as rock-solid as Tibook 500 + OS9 + Live 4 + PCMCIA/Multiface...

i still haven't opened mine yet, but funny thing is i've been getting a whole lot more out of my old amd.

I would have no issues buying a Mac Refurb. You get full warrenty, and in many cases they are pretty much brand new. Awesome deals on the refurb Core Duo MacBook Pro's right now.

Anyone been able to test the Core2Duos and see how these new shiny things work and how fast they are?
