A few years ago with the AU/OSX transition they made some major mistakes, but the fact is I own at least five products that are not UB yet from five different companies, and Ni do not in any way stand out. i3, PSP, etc. none have even hinted really as to when they might possibly update. With i3 it's been about six months at least since he said it, I don't any grudges towards any of them, and I don't think NI are being dishonest by posting projections for UBs, then having to change them, they never promised the updates would be done by their preliminary release schedules, they very bluntly state that the whole thing is subject to change.
It's not at all Stockholm syndrome etc. it's about logic, and rational thinking, I simply do not see that when people discuss NI.

For instance you accuse them of withholding information, yet plenty of other companies don't post anything at all, zero. Basically because they post at all, or try to give projections on a release schedule, you get pissed when their projections aren't accurate. What's going to happen is NI is going to revert to the other companies tactics, and say 'soon'. personally I would rather not see that. I thought it was great that they at least let you know that they aren't porting Vocator until December at the earliest. At least you know that it's not showing up in November etc.

Riddle me this? Why don't any of you who are pissed at NI challenge what I say? it's all personal snips etc. not facts. In the end, I think it's because you realized you jumped the gun on purchases etc. and realize you don't really have a leg to stand on complaint wise. I don't buy vaporware. i didn't sell a PPC machine and get stuck with only a UB machine, it's just not a wise thing to do.

Sorry to hear you bought Kore, I won't ever buy that thing probably, it's a big dongle, that will probably break on you. Definitely my least favorite product from NI.

I've seen that thread, you're not treading any new water here. Ew, the guy you don't disrespect, already pretty much summed it up.
There are plenty of people using Kore, getting it to work. That you can't sucks, but it doesn't make NI liars etc. Simply par for the course with software IMO, and another reason I wouldn't buy it, hardware that NEEDS software etc.
Good luck, but seriously, call NI, the email thing with them is not so good. I have to get to bed, and port songs to the laptop for practice tomorrow etc.

You are correct in attitude. The problem is that the defenders of NI are too strong to ever make the company understand.....were just whiners in their eyes.........

Also, so that maybe I can keep the defenders from hating so much.........let's be real.........allot of the products are great! As a bass player, for example.......very little if anything has ever sounded like a good AMP as guitar rig. It's really frustrating........it's like "NI YOU SUCK" but after dealing with that tone, it's like I give up.

I really just want workable copies of GR 2 and B4II and I'll be happy....seriously.

AND if they ever do get around to electric piano..............holy moly COW will I be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I knew why there are such dramatic differences between those who support NI and those who are upset.......

Here's my question for the supports. How many times do you draw a line in the sand, and have someone cross it, before you've had enough? Please PLEASE don't just attack with a statement........at least try and understand what us "pissed" people are getting at........
