Live kills Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools, etc. It kills them with its big grey dick.
Live is the best.
Live is the best.

Hells no. The Cycling 74 partnership will probably blow the roof off the mother. Most of the 'bugs' I experience are my own fault. Live lacks some features but the C74 partnership can fill that void if users can make their own Live widgets for public consumption.snowtires wrote:pleaaaaaaaaaase wait another year to release live 7. finish working out the bugs in live 6 first. at this point, adding more features would be two steps forward, one step back. there are so many bugs that need to be fixed, adding anything new would just introduce more

I've had Jack Daniels tell me a lot of things, most of them got me kicked out of the bar.J.Daniels wrote:I have been informed by customer support that there will be vast improvements made to Live 6 soon.
Good for you and your spot on observations I also see no real need for the project file management it is a pile o shite and only useful for people who dont make music. I bet they clean their house on sundays and Lives management tools will be included in the list of cleaning chores. I have never ever met one proper producer/engineer who uses any daw file management system except in its most basic form. their far to busy making music and so am Iheadquest wrote:While taking part in the month's beta testing last summer, I just didn't see the point of the new Project Management. The previous system was fine, and I found it obtuse having file management on both the left and the right side of the screen. Why?
[one of the reasons that having beta tested thoroughly I actually decided not to upgrade and stayed on Live 5].
