Until November 30, the full version of Live 6 is available at discounted prices, including a free download upgrade to Live 7 as soon as it is released.

Yeah, rather than upgrade "right now" I meant do it from 5 to 6 rather than from 5 to 7.

That's the last I'll say about it, seems I've posted millions of times about the same topic recently, I think I'm going a bit mad.

why not upgrade from 5 to 7? aside from the racks and some cut copy duplicate features in 6 do you feel we'd be at a disadvantage over say, someone like Hoffman or Forge (which I'm already at a disadvantage because those guys are ballers - Forge was featured in the Ballers R Us online mag as Baller of the Week)

with student discount the update from 5 to 6 should be like $80. you DL a PDF and fill it out, send to Abes. You get L6 serial.

If you activate Live 6 between October 07 to Jan 2008- you get free update to L7.

so L5----> L7 should be $80, as long as you first buy L6 and activate...

but you may want to wait a bit until the Abes post their edu prices for the Ableton suite or instruments- if you plan on getting any of the extra bells and whistles.
