sweet i love trhis thread.... i make alot of crap

most of my songs start off as ruff jams and the good ones end up being used for my band and the crazy ones (if developed further) go towards my solo project...
i was just screwing around with a few loops and playing a bass synth
i will develop this song someday...

She killed him, alright

Seriously though, the track sounds very nice. I love how you manage to build up eerie vibes and use interesting sounds in interesting ways.
Those are really twisted! I didn't see that coming

Slightly too minimalistic for me, but it's still nice listening to
I hope to see more nonsense from ableton forum members soon. I'm currently laying the finishing touches on two non-nonsense tracks.. boring, I know

Hi
More Nonsense from me in the form of
"Two Slightly Distorted Guitars"
This one makes extensive use of Ableton's pitch shifting and time stretching abilities.
I came across the raw material in my scrap folder. It's from a recording of my mates Chris and Steve jamming on their guitars - ages ago now. It wasn't a very productive session so I saved the stuff and pretty much forgot about it.
The percussion came from a computer music cover disk and needs totally re-doing, the arrangement needs working on, etc, but I think it has potential.

Nice tune, but not as good as Colab Doodle in my opinion

Agreed, this one's more of a technical exercise, really.

I'm actually really like this track Noel, anything that got real inputs like guitar!
I still can't play much guitar myself, left handed ..trying to study is a hard thing to do. keep thinking I got to look at things the opposite way.
You got some real gems here and their Noel. Peace!

Some old some new ..but all will collect dust these are just some tight looped based idea's that never made it. I'm such a sound effect whore its not even funny. I still think my stuffs a joke but I choke it up for enjoyment. If these alter someone's mind, give them idea's on there own from it ..good if not at least you all know what I do on my spare time, what ever.

http://www.creepyill.com/oldideanumber5
http://www.creepyill.com/Somethingstupid.mp3 vary cheesy stuff here!
Other than the links above ..hell I'm new to music I don't have much else to share at the moment.
about a hundred more but I'll never make anyone listen to those!!
anyone else have anything to share? I would love to here some more "imperfect" idea's!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit - After posting. I'm thinking I should give the first one another go, the drums need tobe broken up abit and I should do more elaboration with the synth on the left channel, I think adding some wicked fx vocals, source will pan LtoR ..Giving real clean scientific information on how your going insane. ..Yep!

Thanks,
I always though it odd that for a right handed person playing the guitar, the left hand seems to do the hardest job. Surely all that precise fretting is more difficult than twanging the strings.
I like your tunes by the way. You've got a good sound going on. I think the third one stands up best as a completed piece. The second one sounds like it should be part of a much longer piece, especially the way it changes at the end. You should go back through your archive of hundreds of ideas and see what you can make of them.

You sussed me out!
I'm the worst judge of my own stuff for sure, but I do think the arrangement drags a bit and I don't like using canned percussion loops.

The other two sound nice, but ^that one is my favourite. I'm glad you're thinking about doing more with it
On a different note, I just figured out how to get the sounds from a soundfont pack with ultra-cheesy gm patches that I downloaded some time ago

I will hopefully have some more nonsense ready soon.
