I think the interface will really lend itself to touchscreens..

aside from that I hadn't seen anything that's supposed to be taxing the cpu...

I also like this :

Code: Select all

AudioGL is a subset of a much larger multimedia project.

The AudioGL subset focuses primarily on setting a precise standard for the procedural generation of sound.
and the fact that it's a product by 1 programmer dude...
and was crowd funded..

Pretty sweet, but another impressive thing is the song being made with one oscillator. When it's released, I'm sure OscStep will be a new genre.

I wonder if he has had offers.... I really can't believe that he wouldn't have... I mean any dev that ignores something like this, is just plain nuts! imo..

I'm gonna check it more.. however seeing that I'm on mac.. I'll have to wait a bit before I can get REALLY into it..

another one that goes for the 3d approach ..although for MIDI/osc...
quite impressive and fun (and free)... works great with Live..
only had time to mess with the examples..
but looks very useful for generative experimental stuff

8O WHOA! Audio GL FTW!

it makes Bitwig look even less original... didn't think that was possible.

for OSC yes.. but for midi no..
just hook a virtual midi output... in the 'network' tab
then hook it up as input in live track ...

there are examples that come with it specifically for live..

Bitwig's 'proposed' list of features is a wish list for them too.

This developer is amazing & very creative &...... Original 8O

I had a dream I was traveling in space and, with my mind, I was connecting 3D objects which made amazing sounds. Then all these hot alien chicks turned up & things got pretty weird.....

I love the future :)
