i might be not able to express propperly what i mean... nudge has absolut nothing to do with it.8O wrote:I was just answering on behalf of Subfunk...Angstrom wrote:not the main nudge, the 'clip nudge' buttons.
just above the little waveform and envelope icons for each clip.
added in L6 I think...I think that was closer to the Global nudge behaviour...?SubFunk wrote:one thing i don't see any mention of is, and that would be crucial for live performance and dj-ing, if you can 'time shift / beat match' [not shure what the correct name is of what i mean] on the fly manually, this was not possible without crackles before... you know those little corrections like touching / break / accelerate the platter...
human user groove instead of programmed automated stuff.
basically it's similar [in effect] then being able to change the track delay compensation up and down while live is running for at least a max. value of + - 3-5% at any give time manually... up and down as you like without crackles, when you use the track delay compensation it crackles like hell. just like the effect of touching a turntable platter [up or down] while they run in sync.
and in ideal to such an amount that you can stop a clip like that or speed it up to let's say 280bpm. triggered via midi velocity sensitive...!!!
that would sell me DJ-ing with it.
and a warp function on the fly. that works instantly.
probably difficult to achieve, that is why Traktor still is my weapon of choice... for DJ-ing only. or is that possible with 8, is 8 dead stable?
i would be happy if yes.
that would open a whole new dimension of playing LIVE my own stuff with it as well... yum.
