Cold water definitely works better, Bob Katz says so.

Well, I know that the 2 kinds of drinks I had worked, and that a couple of times when I only drank a ton of water I had to redo the test because they were inconclusive. I have no doubt that most of the commercial stuff is bunk, but I'll take my experience as proof that some do work.
