OK, my initial point was totally missed, but not that big a deal.

In regard to the bold, will you answer the part of my post you lopped off? If you use Live in this massively efficient way, you must be cranking out loads of music. Can we hear some of it? Your last track on Soundcloud is very old.

No I won't, it's a silly question and you know it. I will not let you start a massive derail.

Asking to hear some of the music that is made through these incredibly efficient workflows is a silly question?

Isn't the point of Live to produce music? You obviously spend a ton of time on this forum/your website writing about Live, but do you use it to actually make music?

Music isn't a race. The speed with which I move around a DAW has basically nothing to do with the end product, which is the part people actually care about. I just think your focus is completely ass backwards, with the focus on the software (which is a tool) instead of the music (which is the sole reason the tool exists in the first place).

I have no idea what you are talking about. I tell the truth and machines tells lies, it's really quite simple.
slander, most of us are guilty at this point.

so it's the telly, a web site or this forum?

there's more out there man. learn the piano, or guitar, cello, anything! the rest of us are still stuck with jobs...

What? Oh you're saying I'm "chicken"? Right. Sorry but not all of us have the luxury of sitting in the same chair 18 hours out of each day in front of a computer just waiting to die.

Plus, as I said, I have much more interesting things to do with Max than helping you learn how to paste compressed code into a Max For Live device.

Hmm...We've got to get out of this trap
Before this decadence saps our wills
I've got to be strong and try to hang on
Or my mind may well snap
And my life will be lived for the thrills

It's beyond me
Help me mommy
