Asio4All?
it finds my internal soundcard but not the MBOX... I think it only works for "WDM" devices...
Did you install the Digidesign asio/wdm drivers?
without trying to hijack the thread, i installed the basic digi driver yeah, i can use the MBOX with Windows Media player etc.. but yeah, not in ASIO4ALL

learn it, love it!
i know its a pain for me too.

Love it ??? What are you on man ? I asked for the app (like every other audio app I use) to default to internal if it doesn't see my firewire ! Being reminded theres an f'in shortcut doesn't change the fact !

It will, Per. It will.
I don't fully understand the architecture of the plugin, but I just hope they will let it do longer loops

That's really cool!!! Now I'm just wondering if the slices will play back with respect to the global plug-in latency comensatio? If it does that, it's really a historical piece of software!!!
(not bitching over 12 ms though

Will the new Live have a 'track transpose'. I've know lots of people screaming out for this one for composing & also live/DJ. Being able to automate (with a knob) the actual pitch of a track in a live situation would be a godsend.

I know you're supposed to be able to edit multiple clips at once, so as long as you can select all clips in a track, it should be do-able.

how about a global repitch setting. so if i check this option then the whole set will act like a turntable (i guess you would have to tell it at which bpm the original untransposed sound would be) and i can grind down a set to a screeching halt for a nice finish.

It already does that - as long as you are just using repitch and not beats mode etc.

Does Ableton Live only support MIDI files? If so...How do I convert music files to MIDI?

yea you can do this one clip at a time, but i'm talking about a global option to do them all at once.
