hi all...
ok, here's the deal...
i just spoke to the cat, i was trying to hold out for the 21st, but the night just got taken by a national act, so that's out.
we can try for a later date, or take the 7th of may.....
i still feel we need a bit more time than that for promo etc,
i wouldn't be able to get started on it until after the 22nd as i have a week of shows...
but if you guys want to do it, i will take the date.
i have to respond today, so...
feedback, please!

Thanks for looking into this and getting back (I'm hoping to catch the show Sunday at iota, btw).
I tend to agree that a later date might be better-- if there is a chance that we can get aired on XM for that, that's even sweeter.
Having said that, is anyone still up for a preliminary on the 7th? I'm thinking an opportunity missed is an opportunity, uh, not caught
.
Also, aligningminds, what's the chance of a mid-May show at the 13th floor?
[multiple edits, sorry] For reminder, this was the lineup for the black cat planned 5/21 (now possible 5/7 if DK hears today):
phatso brown, d.a.r.k., utenzil, cedric, kimozified, ross(tranquil010)
(also, if taking 5/7 means missing a better date later, then I think we should wait).

hello all,
well, it seems that the 7th at the cat looks good to most folks....
so i put in a call and left a message that we wanted the date.
so...it's 99% for the 7th, i just need to hear back.
assuming it's on, i will solicit help from all involved parties.
if we can draw 75 people there will be a future date also, nothing missed.
i'd like to get a list of everyone who would like to play,
(slopes, you checking in?)
previous ideas about slots/times aside....i have some fun ideas, so i'd like to see how many total performers we could get..heh heh....
"pairs" anyone?
and on the separate issue of ottobar, apparently robin can't make it to vj, he will be recouperating from a surgery. nothing life threatening, but a necessary procedure.
good vibes for a speedy recovery!

heh, this sounds cool, I've been messing with setting up multiple USB devices as MIDI controllers into Live, where up to three could be 'playing' through a single Live instance.
