Cant say I blame him really. Lets face it there is no resale value in software.
There's no resale value in toilet paper but I bet that hasn't stopped him investing so he can have a comfy shit. There's no point developing with assholes like that around, it's easier just to go work for Burger King and do it for a hobby.

Tell your friend he's a cunt from me will yah?

This thread has gotten way off-topic.

If there was midi editing, there would be no reason to use any other software for me. I have been trying to find a midi editor to use - but to of no avail. Sure, there are many out there, but they are bloated with either audio or softsynth functionality I dont need - because I use Live. Midi functionality would allow me to use live and nothing else until the mastering stage.

Apple users - I put all my loops and audio data files on a Lacie d2 firewire drive and the performance increased tremendously. You might want to try that - my powerbook's hard drive runs at a paltry 5400 rpm.

Slightly off topic here.

But just wished to sya that I would like to see some sort of basic midi in live.

Not to much to ask for I think. Midi would save the users having to use work arounds that dont really work that well.

Thanks
:)

And yeah, just to reinforce - Leave out the editing features, just the ability to drop standard MIDI files onto a slot would be fine......

cheers
