Thanx for the enhancements Klinikal!
I've found a little inconsistency: The play position line in piano roll is black instead of white, hard to see.
The selection line you get if you click on a key of the vertical keyboard in piano roll should also be white. Also in the velocity controller lane.
I prefer the Blue Control but the red colors of the notes in piano roll in ninja are better for the eyes, so maybe you could make this variation? If you are working much with Midi visibility of notes is really critical and dark blue is just too dark.
Even much better than this would be 2 bright colors for the notes: Something like bright red/blue/green for low vel and white for high velocity! This would also fit into the aesthetics!
And I'd like to see Goblin Control and Ninja Control Versions: They look better with less colored edges.
Please!
Again thanx for the first cool Live Skins. Ableton should buy them and adapt them to Live 6.

Thanx again!
Having worked with the skins for a couple of hours, I think you should also try to make a version with a non-black piano roll (only the part where the notes get displayed) like in most of the other skins. The contrast between background and notes is really problematic and should be optimised. If you look at Logic eg they must have found out the same, the piano roll is not dark.

The way Live is set up for skinning is terrible. its extremely difficult to make dark skins that dont clash or mask parts.
Skinning needs to be addressed in Live 6, so we can put an end to it, so we dont have to reply on skinners spending hours on end changing code, testing, changing code, testing, changing code, testing...

Ok, it's SICK how good these skins are. For me, I like the "Set" better than the "Control" because unless the little icons are outlined, on my 15 inch 1600x1200 screen, it's too hard to see. Also, the contrast now is just great. I might like a little brighter piano roll, but that's nitpicky...
Also, I LOVE the Goblin Set, but since the triangles that flash also in green, it might be hard to see, so I'll prolly switch to Blue, which is still giving me a major erection!!
Overall, NICE JOB!!!!

Yeah, piano roll shoud be brighter. Just like in the Midnight Skin would be perfect. Not totally dark, not bright and notes are very good to see!

Thanks Klinical!
1 Comment so far, the browser and plugin tabs need some contrast against the background, this could really be a problem on an older monitor, I had to de-calibrate my lacie to see (to shining sea) them.

The blue control is sweet, but I do have a couple suggestions...is there any way you could add the blue outline to the fader positions like in the other blue skin? I like being able to see where my faders are a bit better.
Also, original clip colors would be awesome as I already have a system of color coding.
I also agree with the red colors in piano roll being a better choice for visibility.
Overal these skins are pushing the envelope! Nice job!

Thank you!!!!! These skins make the coolest program in the world even better! Wow!
(My only request that would beg of you is to make the piano roll on the left side in the lower clips window contrast with the black and not blend in. Right now the octaves (C3,C4,etc) are in black and can't really be seen as well as the indicator that tells you what keyboard note you are passing. This would make it PERFECT!!!!!)
Thanks again.

I recently wondered why ther was no dark skin for live! you done it!
just a detail, the dark black and light black (eg selected scene, notes lane in the midi editor) look a bit the same, not enough contrast to see clearly wich note ou insert.
otherwise I already love it!
