I don't understand what you mean by this. Could you explain?
this has not been an official statement, just my own assumptions..

for parameters that are close to Live' boundaries, like the BPM slider on the top left,
its probably going to be a problem to operate properly..

since your pen works in absolute mode, you have a 1:1 tablet<>screen mapping..
in case of the BPM slider that would mean you cannot slide it upwards endlessly because you'll 'run out of tablet'..

the same would be true for device parmeters because they're close to the bottom boundary..

a possible solution could be a modifier that, when hold, changes the drag direction from vertical to horizontal..
but even that's no guarantee it'll work fine in all possible situations..

but if this is the reason why there's still no fix I would already be happy with that 'half' fix..

I see what you are saying.

Yes, I would be happy with the half fix as well.

if all this is true I really don't understand why Ableton has not released it already..

I mean so many other features came in different stages.. I really think all Wacom users will accept that..

A quick count of the recent 1+ ed  threads gives us:

187 posts &

31132 views 8O

That's not 31132 unique views, but it says a lot of users want to see this implemented!!

it even tops Elastique Pro algorithm http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... 78&start=0 on view count
which has better post count 229, but not that much, but wacom support wins over 29053 views..
Which we're of course greatfull to see implemented!!

It leaves behind: Bezier Curves 94 posts 12923 views.

recording automation to clips: needs a total rewrite of the Live engine, but look at the post count 203 post, not much more and 40501 it wins, but just by a quarter.
http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=51908

The GREAT 128 PARAMETERS CAMPAIGN - Add Support Now :) 361 post 47500 views. wins on both post and views, but the difference is not that big...
Also Implemented!! thanks again.

This proves that it not just a little request and that there are a lot of people craving for this to implement. :!:

Its in the top list requests!!!

Btw. I never saw a request for a vocoder and its there now.

There where even people saying and I quote: 'No one needs a vocoder' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOTZk0fD6Qs&eurl= here's proof!!!!

We need wacom support, or do we need a certain someone to say that no on needs a wacom and it'll magically appear in the next beta??? 8O is that it??

Did some more digging and our total score went up to 224 posts and 35111 views on the subject... so far so good...
Ooops and I forgot to add the 77 posts and 15447 views in the threads in bugs and problems...

So the score is 301 posts and 50558 views and these numbers don't lie

There are 9 unique threads on the subject in the Feature wishlist, 3 in bugs and problems and more some more in general and beta...

This has to count for something!!!
