Hi,
Do the template works well with Novation Remote Zero SL & Korg PadKontrol controllers.
Can I use this controllers with?

you can adapt them for whatever controller provided you understand how to use the programming application.
with that said, i would not recommend using the SL series live, they are much more studio oriented in my opinion.

With a little bit of programming and understanding of midi conntrol maps I am finding the SL Zero very good for Live PA / DJ style gigs.
Mr Conductor, I must say thankyou for the effort you put into projects like this. They inspire me to constantly look at the way I work and help me to continually find new ways to enjoy using Live.
Cheers

you could probably use triceratopz on windows without too much hassle. if you write the bome's presets for me i'll give you a free one

i don't have access to a windows machine right now.

I have 2-3 dumb questions...
- what PA does mean please?
- what app is used on mac to do the bomes / autohotkeys job?
- why triceratopz won't fit live 6 ?
I'm aiming to make triceratopz copulate freely with a padkontrol/farmpad+faderfox LV2 multiminicontroller, that could be the ULTIMATE TOOL !!!!!!!
But I'm on live 6, and no $$$ to upgrade to 7 (and my 6.10 is totally stable and operative, I'm afraid to change for a new upgrade...)
I contacted Dylan, I'll feedback soon.
I can't wait to see the fruit of this great copulation !!!!!
best regards

I think I just shit myself laughing... In response to your questions:
PA = LOADS of 'em. Personal Appearance, Public Appearance, Performance Artist, Power Amplifier...
Mac equivalent of Bomes = ControlAid
Triceratopz Compatability = Live 6 does not have Racks. Triceratopz does.
Hope this helps...

you mean drum racks or racks?
Live 6 has racks, but no drum racks.

yep...
Thanks for thoses quick answers...
PA, ok.
Perfect Aass ? Pudding Act...
ControlAid... IS TOTALLY GREAT !!! and freeware

that's totally cool, I'll try it as soon as possible. Why didn't I heard about it before??
Live 6 / 7 ...
LIVE 6 HAS RACKS
but:
NO SIDECHAIN
NO DRUM RACKS
NO EXTERNAL MIDI INSTR.
SO THERE IS STILL SOME HOPE fOR MY MINIMULTICONTROLLER-TRICERATOPZ ORGY?
If not...
I'll have some hard work to make mine, but I guess it is do-able, if a short-sighted canadian dreadlock man managed it
don't take it bad Dylan, you know I love you

I just feel I have to put you down of your king-chair before you get too high !!!!

(kick me)
cheers
love you all sick lateral thinkers,

hey phat, what are you looping? is it like setup like Loop IN Loop Out Reloop like standard cd players? that would be an awesome feature.

by The Phat Conductor
for one bar loops i use the multi fx rack, and then for the classic in/out style cdj looping i use the computer keyboard.

btw - here's a word on clip pack organization:
here's how my organizational structure works
folder 1 - bottom ableton browser = master crate = every song i play named BPM-KEY-artist-track-genre-tags-tags-tags-tags-tags-etc.als
folder 2 - middle ableton browser = hot crate for that individual gig = tracks copied from the master crate
folder 3 - top ableton folder = originals
then i have several finder windows open for the different genres, called up be doing the (now instantaneous, thank you leopard) searches by tags
when i need a song in a given key code (camelot notation) i do a search for that, and then sort by bpm.
finder supports drag + drop into ableton btw. very handy.
