I like how sometimes we talk to one another in these threads, and then in the next moment we talk right around one another. Just like in a real family.

You and I know that tomorrow Apple could announce they aren't going to sell another iPad for 6 months so that the competition can catch up and then at 6 months and 1 day they drop the iPad 3 and the debut weekend sales will top the past 6 months of all competitor sales combined.

I'm taking my iPad to work today to view the announcement. APPROPRIATE.

I'm hoping there's cameras on it, not because I would actually use them, but because it boggles my mind that there's a serious lack of video editing software for the iPad, not even iMovie. The addition of cameras on the iPad will probably change that.

I heard on the radio on the way to work today that pilots on 1 airline have been approved to use an iPad instead of the 90 lbs. of maps they typically use. There is some map app that gets the glory.

When asked what about technical issues the developer says "oh that's why they'll have 2 iPads" - hmmmm.

To me, the really fucked part about this is all the other shit they'll be doing with the thing.
