you can get those wedges where they sell acoustic treatment foams for studios, companies like auralex do them, e.g. and often in online music shops like thomann or digital village, too.

OK, so it's foam wedges? I thought it looked like a solid material, like wood.

The pads are good.Maybe better than my old MPD24.They don't light up like the padcontrol.
Looks a bit cheap but is good.
Also the nano control is ok.I mean for the money are ok.
Both you can program how you want, but you will need editing proram from korg.
It is free to download.

OK, I'm just like fifteen minutes from an IKEA! Do you know the name of the product? Did you modify it in any way? What's its intended use (according to IKEA)?

oops, sorry my bad, but they are made often from a very strong rather hard foam... and you get them tilted either the way pictured or the other way around for shelfs.

but hey ikea sounds good, because auralex for example is just stupidly expensive for no reason.

thanks, lunabass! :)
If I'd plan a case again, I would restrict myself to 2 rows, not three, but I like it nevertheless. The third row wit the microkontrol and kaoss pad is a bit too far away for me, because the guitar is in the way. Or my arms are too short... Maybe I should exchange the guitar with a ukulele ...

I want a set up like this with the electronic drum kit for "in-apartment" rehearsals. It'd be cool to play with a real drummer without generating too much noise.

Anyone have a clue what the best budget-minded electronic drum kit is? Every time I tried pricing one out it got really expensive really quickly.

For a home practice, you canny go wrong with a Roland TD-3. Could probably get a decent 2nd hander for about £450 off of eBay.

Jörg's drumset is not very expensive I think. And it's very quiet, because you don't get any impact sound from the bass drum pedal like with other e-drum sets.

We had the problem that with a normal pedal, the impact sound would be transmitted through the whole house. In the appartment above the studio it was really annoying for the people there to hear this low-frequency stomping sound that we didn't hear at all in the studio, all we heard there was a gentle "click"...

no, the case was made by (music shop) Thomann.
I made the drawings for the case, and they put some thought in it and added some good ideas, too.

yes, the "clunk" problem... at our last gig, I kept hitting the microphone stand...
