Got to watch the keynote. Saw the part where Steve claimed .2 pounds is actually a big weight difference. If I was a DEA agent I might agree with him but I'm not too convinced that makes a difference on mobile devices. I think in this case some hands on experience needs to be a deciding factor. Simply reading about it or seeing pictures isn't enough.

Oh, and congrats H2O!! If a Mexican can win the lotto then there's no reason you can't win the 100th page post just because you don't own an iPad.

If so......ANOTHER GAME CHANGER.

I think when you have to start carrying around all these peripherals to record and make music, it takes away from the whole portability aspect.

LSZ, beats, i will gladly own an iPad when i get a free one. i currently can't see dropping 500 bucks on something that does the same things as my phone, my laptop, my camera and my XBox/Wii - all of which, besides the game consoles, are much easier to haul around and require no add-ons or jukebox programs to manage. since I hardly have time to play games in the comfort of my own home not having that gaming option when I'm at Starbucks doesn't phase me.

honestly though... i'm a single, full time dad that absolutely does not get the same things from his ex that she once demanded, without fail, from him... like child support and a weekend or a couple of weeks of me time here and there. you know, the things that men get called dead beats for not providing. the good news!.. the bitch is two time zones away and her apathy is my reward. why the fuck i'm typing this here i'll never know, probably because i know that once this thread hits page 102 this will never be read again... still, it does affect the amount of money i have for toys like an iPad. if i drop 5 hundo on soemthing it needs to be something i don't already have in 3 or 4 different iterations. i will admit... they're cool and getting cooler
