That sucks. There was a Floridian Christian "screamo" band called Hidden Driveway that was touring around a lot in 2006. I wrote a non-threatening & friendly letter to them explaining the legalities, namely how I've been using the name officially since 1998. They wrote back me back saying only "good luck with that."
Anyway, a good friend of mine is a music industry entertainment lawyer. He offered to send them a cease and desist letter, but I said no, lets just wait. After their short jaunt in 2006 they have been completely inactive. It seems like they have broke up. If they resurface again I will go through with sending them the C + D letter.
You might want to sit it out like I did. The only thing that sucks for real is that you don't own the internet domain for Faster Faster. I just went to fasterfaster.com and it doesn't seem like it's run by you. The domain thing might be the impetus you need to change your name, not some flash in the pan young band that's likely to break up.
