Create a set - add the tracks to the set in the order you want them to appear and then you can choose to have your set be the thing that appears first on your public profile.
I can see the sets, but not how to create them...how do you create a set?

On each track you have on your profile there will be a link just above the waveform marked "Add to set" - when you hit that link it'll give you the option to add it to a set or create a new set with it. You'll get only the latter option when you have no sets.

I also love virb but hardly anybody goes there outside other musicians and artists at a trickle, which isn't a bad thing but kind of reminds me of mp3.com, tons of traffic but not much from the common man.
I don't get much traffic myself, but then I'm not actively promoting myself. I think of it as a resource to be used along with myspace especially as it seems you can embed your Soundcloud player in your MySpace page. If you can embed it in the other services (Facebook, Virb, etc) then you've got one central point tracking your plays etc.
Has anybody successfully embedded their player in myspace? I brought this up in another thread that their player was nowhere to be found other than saying it exists. I soon lost interest because I have better things to worry about.

Think I've seen it done - not tried myself as I don't have a MySpace for myself. However, when I click the Share link on one of my tracks, I get MySpace as an option and it takes me through to MySpace to confirm it. Will be trying it at some stage with some of my band tracks.

That's just rude. But then again, that's MySpace ;-)

Done. Thanks!

I managed to embed the player onto Facebook and the dropbox widget into myspace....but didnt try the player in myspace. It wasn't easy to do on FB had to get some app running and then drop it into boxes or some such nonesense. Doesnt work because who the hell digs deeper than the main profile page on FB?
