electronic music is for kids with rich mummy's and daddies. Start them young, start them elite.
Guitars and recorders are for the rest, who will become musicians.

i was thinking about a black lab.. not as cute as kids though..
except when kids cry..
i just want to pick every crying baby up and shake them and say "its ok damnit nothings wrong, you need to stop making a fucking scene here"
but then i remember that the little tykes brain can rattle around when you shake em..

Teach your dog to use Live. Actually on second thought, start him out on a nylon string guitar.

My dog will howl sometimes when I play the harmonica. Wild shit. What do you suppose is going on in that little canine brain of his?

Either it wants to mate with you, or you're hurting its ears.

I've got 3 kids and 2 dogs. Don't rush into these things.

My 3 year old uses Live. He has real instruments as well. He loves it all.

This thread could turn a corner and become an interesting debate about the validity of having some one learn an "Instrument" and have them learn "Music".
I say there is no validity in learning an instrument, i don't think it precludes you from understanding or being able to make music.
I think that's the elitist line of thought.
That you are not a musician unless you play an instrument,,,?
WTF???
I'm calling bull shit on that reasoning.
To me, thats a bit like saying your not a writer unless you can use a quill and ink, or a fountain pen, or a biro,,,

Get her a copy of Computer Music Magazine. This comes with their CM studio on the disc. This includes a complete software studio for free including a simple DAW. Free and some great stuff in there.
