I'd also like to see statitics that WD drives don't crash more than Seagate ones.... because every admin I know tells me the same thing: No WD! And this is pretty much statistics for me as they operate on thousands of computers if you sum it up.

ive got several years old WDs still going strong, and have had at least 3 Maxtors fail on me in the last year.
ive not seen any actual numbers that specify that WD fails more than anything else.
the point is that your backup regime is more important than the brand of your hard drive.

Never had a problem with LaCie. (Oops, I've done it now).
