how can you use the voices on mac?

There is also a program for OSX called Cakehole that is decent for text to aiff. Not sure if it has been mentioned yet. It has a number of different voices you can select as well, including some familiar ones (i.e. OK Computer)

try also... vox machina. lots of mac voices, type, speak, save.
