Nope, the video says "In stores January 2009 worldwide".nebulae wrote:They prolly just updated the motorolla chips and optimized the code to get extra polyphony. Without updated USB, TI1 will still hold it's value. Also there is no mention if when TI2 will hit the market. Given their track record, it could be 3-6 months.

Been fine for me (so far!...) even using the newly enabled USB input routing features - ie using it as an integrated fx device.willdahbe wrote:OS 3 is buggy for me. ti stops making sound in ableton through vc.. dont care to test or use in stand alone because i have the snow.
Nothing to see here - move along!

This was my first synth, and owned since 2005, the very first gen wit os 1.0 beta. welcome to bug-land and upgrade paradise, it took approx one year to get it really work, but still with some bugs.mr. adl wrote:monstrejumo wrote:

after that bugs were fixed I realised that It was too complex for me, and sounding too "nicey", too "trancey".
It became a dusty unuseful thing in my homestudio when I discovered little vst's like automap, and later discovering NI massive.
Even when I was better understanding substractive and fm synthesis I tried to use it better, but no way, I lost all my love with it.
just sold it and feel way better now.
but I know it is a great synth, just not for me.
I'd advise you to test it first, not buying it because everybody finds it soooo cool.
it could be a good synth for you, I don't know, but for sure it is for me just a crappy full of ghost specs shiny gear-lie.
"my 2 francs"
@monstrejumo
Thanx for the honest post
Yeah, should definitely check it out first in a store. Seems like endless possibilities with all the functions. On the other hand...i bought Massive second hand and haven´t digged into it deep as it is very complex (at least to me). I really like Sylenth1 and Minimonsta for their simplicity.

Just gave the Snow the new update; tons of stuck midi notes, horrible feedback sound (also stuck) when switching patters, yuck! Pretty gui though!
I had all these problems when the beta os 2 came out a year or so ago. They managed to fix it then but 3, in its current state, is hardly a useable OS.
I'm going to downgrade back to 2.7.3

I asked him this a while back when i had the chance to buy a TI real cheap..
It had nothing to do with the keyboard.
It was a decision forced by a bad set of non-musicale circumstances.
Like the man said...
If some one wants to buy him a new one, he'll be all for it.

There is essentially ONE engine feeding the plugin and that is the ONE single hardware virus unit, so I don't think it's possible to have more than one instance of the plugin itself. But... you do know you CAN still have 16 different parts... or synths... playing from that same plugin, right?Daim wrote:wow.. the plugin still can only be used on one single track.. sucks
All about MIDI/Audio routing. Not complicated at all. It's like having 16 synth plugins neatly packed into one "tabbed" window.
