I would be subtle with the white noise fx and stuff, just like add ever so slight build-up's towards where beats kick in / transitions, and let it echo overGrappadura wrote:thx man, yeah I also played around with white noise and wanted to implement it, just didn´t know where exactly. What would you improve in the bassline? the notes or the tone, or both? And yes, the spacey feel is something to still work on, some more reverb perhaps... also its not mastered yet.
bassline, the tone sounds a bit basic, too saw wavey, it's kind of stuck inbetween being electronic and trying to sound like a bass guitar, i would go more in either direction
just imo of course

it is sweet indeed, the tune. it does also work as is, but i would lean towards adding other.. or just deeper bass. i guess it's matter of taste, but for me it's just a bit too naive sounding. i guess i miss the mean kontrapunktGrappadura wrote:well said. yeah I got a friend who plays bass maybe I should ask him.chevthewizard wrote: bassline, the tone sounds a bit basic, too saw wavey, it's kind of stuck inbetween being electronic and trying to sound like a bass guitar, i would go more in either direction
