It's Arranger view is like Ableton's Session view tilted 90 degrees.

Oh yeah, right off the starting block it comes with a deeply integrated control surface with heaps of bi-directional feedback.

There are displays that can swivel from a horizontal to a vertical position which might help to give Cubase that "session view" look.

She was a really caring grandma! She could stay like that for hours. even days. Must be years by now. Now that is really being patient with children.

A Reason/Logic combo sounds like it would do the trick.
