NI Kontakt - Anyone use it?

I have Kontakt 2, and it's great but I never use it. I swear, i haven't launched it in months, maybe even a year so i never even considered upgrading to 3.

I thought about selling it, but was later told that NI doesn't permit the transfer of EDU licenses :(

I use it on occasion, it seems as though K3 is much less of a CPU hog than K2 was...I have Komplete and have since ver 2, and Kontakt was the one plug I would never use because it would crash Live consistently. The third party library stuff is nice - if you sign up for the newsletter from Zero-G, they send out demo sample packs once in a while which are totally compatible with K3. Also, while the library seems more on the traditional instrument side, once you get into the effects, that shit is gold, jerry, pure gold :wink:

Fingers crossed!

It's stuff like the looping markers not looping when you've got one point set 'wrong', and sample playback stopping when you don't save a cropped sample (have to do a restart or reload of the kit to get round that one).
