Hi,

i just meant that e.g. complex warp mode generates other artifacts than e.g. tones, etc.

Currently selected warp modes keep their artifacts of course.

Hi again,

normalized consolidation happens always because some algorithms used for
warping may produce a signal above 0dB (equal-power crossfades between
grains) which would result in clipping when recorded to 16 or even 24 bits.
